Professional MD 1000 PRO MAX Paint Thickness Gauge for fast, precise, and non-destructive measurement of paint thickness on vehicles with iron and aluminum body parts.
With the MD 1000 PRO MAX paint thickness gauge, it is possible to reliably and quickly determine the paint thickness on cars. The device also detects magnetic filler and galvanization.
The paint thickness meter features a very high measurement accuracy of ±2% and a measurement range up to 6000 μm on iron and up to 3500 μm on non-ferrous metals. This makes it especially suitable for professional appraisers, car dealers, and classic car enthusiasts.
An innovative feature of the paint gauge is the three-color display, which automatically changes its color when critical paint thickness values are exceeded, for intuitive use:
- Less than 170 micrometers - "white"
- From 170 micrometers to 350 micrometers - "blue"
- From 350 micrometers to 6000 micrometers - "red"
Moreover, the paint layer gauge features a second small OLED display on the top of the device, which can operate down to -40°C.
